Exemplar and Pilot Sites- Process and Key Facts
The BSIRQI initiative is open to all UK sites undertaking Interventional Radiology.
Registration with the site is voluntary.
Local sites undertake self assessment based on the BSIRQI assessment proforma which can be downloaded from the site.
Self assessment questionnaires can either be submitted via the webform on the BSIRQI website or by email at exemplaradmin@bsirqi.org
We aim to acknowledge the receipt of questionnaires within 3 working days.
Questionnaires will be reviewed and sites will be notified if they are included within the exemplar or pilot sites list within one month.
All sites, both exemplar and pilot sites, are encouraged to submit service improvement examples and service protocols.
At 6 monthly intervals the pilot sites will be asked to indicate progress or areas of support required.
At one yearly intervals exemplar sites will be asked to confirm that their previous status has not changed.
