The British Society of Interventional Radiology is currently reviewing the potential impact of vascular surgical reconfigurations on Interventional Radiology services in District General Hospitals.
The BSIR supports and encourages the opportunity for better networked services to improve the quality and access to Interventional Radiology services. We are keen to hear from units which have undergone review and developed solutions that allow the best use of resource across hospital networks. We will issue guidance regarding vascular reconfigurations and DGH units by the beginning of December.
The following link will take you to a short survey on the impact of vascular service reconfigurations on Interventional Radiology.
The results of this survey and models of care involving DGH and vascular units provided by this survey will be available on the BSIR and BSIR-QI websites by mid December.
